We use several expressions to imply that intuition has been at work.

Have you ever heard anyone say:

• My gut feeling told me not to hire him.
• I had a hunch the deal would go through.
• I had a premonition that the provider would accept the rate offered.
• My strong business acumen helped me make the right decision.
• My insight helped me select the right people for the project.
• I made an educated guess that the new product was a winner.
• I always fly by the seat of my pants in making decisions like this.
• Our group at work has shared vision of where we are headed in the next few years.
• I had a sixth sense about a case/provider.
• Playing it by ear, I knew just what to say.
• I can sniff out what is going on.
• Shooting from the hip, I expressed myself well and hit the target.
• I got the picture when I saw the paperwork.
• A light suddenly went on and I found the solution.
