Primary responsibilities include:

  • Making sales presentations to individuals as well as large groups
  • Monthly staff meeting participation and various company-wide seminars
  • Generating leads and responding to leads provided by various company marketing activities
  • Cold calling and developing new leads and sales opportunities
  • Attending speaking and promotional events in the community such as health fairs and open enrollment
  • Networking with insurance agents and brokers and other healthcare professionals in the area
  • Maintaining and growing assigned accounts (on both agent and client side as needed)

Candidates must have direct sales experience, be comfortable with cold calling, good communication and public speaking experience (including presentations with PowerPoint) and have recent success with selling to new groups or individuals. Additionally, a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation are required (50-75% travel), as well as a good credit score. Knowledge of the healthcare and insurance industry would be ideal.
